About Me
- Name: Team Bunny
- Location: Liverpool, New York, United States
For many years, I kept tucked within my heart, the dream of some day losing all of the wieght that engulfed my life and almost choked me to death. Although I am so sad that I never took control of my life sooner, an inner peace would be achieved if I could help someone else struglling with obesity, so they don't have to suffer a lifetime the way I did. Keep the dream alive in your own heart, and call upon it when you are ready. It is your dream, don't give it away to anyone, and only you can bring it to life.

Fiber Muffins
3 cups All Bran Cereal
2 and 1/2 cups of water
1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Let the above mixture soak for 5 minutes.
Add 1 package of No Pudge Brownie Mix ( I found it at Wegmans in the Health Food Section or at Nature-Tyme on Bridge Street)
Mix this all together, it will be on the dry side, but it comes together. Spray a 12 cup muffin pan with Pam. Drop enough in each well to make 12 muffins.
Bake at 350 degrees, for 20 minutes (till toothpick comes out clean).
Each muffin = 2 points.

A long time ago a young lady in you W.W. Group asked me to get on your E-mail list to receive info from you, print it, and pass it on to her. She now has her own computer and is receiving and enjoying everything you send..........as for myself I I've been passing along things to my co-workers (telling them to read you articles in the paper) and as a result I'm now twenty pounds lighter. But.....Bunny....a pink color background on you new Bog!!! .........the guys here at work a really are giving me a hard time..........when I brought it up today they really were having fun joking around and asking me things like ( "have I seen the new articles on ladies bras ")

A recipe to help you guys from Jody:
Hi Bunny! This is the pancake recipe I use. I usually add fresh blueberries and serve with light syrup. Another tasty option I use is to add cinnamon to the recipe and serve with homemade applesauce or homemade jam. The recipe comes from Betty Crocker’s Healthy New Choices cookbook. Enjoy! Jody J
Oatmeal Pancakes
Prep: 10 Minutes; Cook: 5 Minutes; Yield: 9 Pancakes
½ cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup whole wheat flour
¾ cup reduced-fat buttermilk
¼ cup fat-free milk
2 egg whites or ¼ cup Egg Beaters
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
Beat all ingredients with hand beater or whisk just until smooth. Spray griddle with cooking spray. Heat griddle over medium heat or to 375 degrees. For each pancake, pour about ¼ cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook pancakes until puffed and dry around edges. Turn and cook other sides until golden brown.

Bunny, why dont you add a before picture on the blog site ? For people who did not see you at the beginning of your journey, as I did, I think it would be inspiring. Or maybe you dont even have a picture of before, what do you think ?

Thanks for suggesting I post a before and after picture (Judy). I will do that when I get a better "after" picture. I am thinner now than the one on here and I need to get a new one. Then I will post both. Bunny

HI Bunny,
Do you plan on having another walk at Onondaga Lake?will it be weekly?..couldn't make it this week and will be away this Sunday too. I am interested for the days I can make it there.
I am adding cardio on the days I don't go to the YMCA to shed those last 5 or 6 pounds..
